Question:

Hyper Fixes RO92199 for Top Secret r15.0 and RO92198 for Top Secret r16.0 refer to the CEMT Bypass list.

Is this the same CICS Bypass list as used for tranid?

How do you find the CEMT Bypass list?

Answer:

The CEMT BYPASS list is not the same BYPASS list as the TRANID BYPASS LIST.

If you issue:

TSS MODIFY(FAC(CICSPROD=BYPLIST)).

You will see the TSS9571I message if the CICS CEMT BYPASS List is used.

For example:

TSS9571I RESOURCE=CEMT BYPASS NAMES: INQUIRE SET

You will also see any other CICS BYPASS Lists.

For example:

DISPLAY FOR FACILITY CICSPROD
TSS9571I RESOURCE=SYSID BYPASS NAMES: BTS3 AOM3 AOM5
TSS9571I RESOURCE=CEMT BYPASS NAMES: INQUIRE SET
TSS9571I RESOURCE=LOCKTIME BYPASS NAMES: TSS
TSS9571I RESOURCE=PCT BYPASS NAMES: DBRV DSIM AOM
TSS9572I BTS CRSR CRTX DASE DASQ OSBB
TSS9572I SCAN
TSS9571I RESOURCE=TRANID BYPASS NAMES: CAQP CATA CATD CATP
