Problem:

After eHealth has been upgraded to 6.3.2.09 the Live Health applications (Live Exceptions, Status and Trend) fail to launch with the following error message.

Error: HTTP Status 500 - Unable to compile class for JSP:

 type: Exception report

message: Unable to compile class for JSP:

description: The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

exception: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP:

Environment:

eHealth 6.3.2.09, Solaris, linux, Windows

Resolution:

Please make sure that the $NH_HOME/web/tomcat/lib folder has only one "ecj" file.

There should be ecj-4.4.jar file and no other ecj*.jar files.

Please remove all the ecj*.jar file except ecj-4.4.jar by doing the following:

 1. Stop the Tomcat Service.

 2. Move the files to a different location (where it is not found), leaving the ecj-4.4.jar file in place.

 3. Start the Tomcat Service.

Live Health applications should then start, without error.

Additional Information:

This issue has been resolved in newer versions.
