It is important to understand, that adding a SpectroServer covers the  major topics

- SpectroServer is startable (check for output in VNM.OUT)

- The SpectroServer is attached to a present SpectroServer installation (adding a SpectroServer/Landscape to a MLS)

- Make the new SpectroServer accessible by OneClick server (Tomcat) to allow adding the Landscape to the OneClick console presentation layer

Problem Environment:

Causes of this problem:
SpectroServer installation is done and configured to attach to MainLocationServer - following the Distributed SpectroServer Guide.

Additional Information:
Utilities to be used for the verification are "osfind" and "MapUpdate".

osfind is an utility to list the CORBA objects which can be browsed from that local machine running the "osfind"

MapUpdate is an utility to list the Location Service resources which are registered to the local machine Location Service.
