Introduction:
This document provides steps to determine if a transaction performed by a customer was authenticated using Static Password/ Transaction Password or not.
Question:
How to verify if a transaction was authenticated via Static password or Not?
Environment:
CA Transaction Manager Admin Console
Answer:
  • Login to CA Transaction Manager Admin Console.

  • Select Cardholder Account Inquiry.
Cardholder details
  • Submit the card number (or) proxy pan to get the exact time stamp of a transaction.

  • Click on Transaction report by card number and enter the card number/proxy pan, choose the duration

  • Check for the below in call out status.
Callout Statuss5tridentXX::[L]:s5tridentXX::Select[TransactionPassword]:s5tridentXX::[PASSWORD_MATCH_SUCCESS]
Verify Password Status
 
Successful
  • Note:- If we are able see the 'Transaction Password' term in the call out status, it's a confirmation that transaction has been authenticated via static password
