SUMMARY

An error of "Pgm nhiRegStats[Active]:DuAPI Oracle error: ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE" can be appeared on ehealth OneClick or in the $NH_HOME/log/system log file. But some times the error does not means Oracle is not connected. This article explains the process of troubleshooting this error message.

INSTRUCTION

If there is an error of "Pgm nhiRegStats[Active]:DuAPI Oracle error: ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE" on ehealth OneClick or in the $NH_HOME/log/system log file, you need to check if you can sign on to sqlplus using the command below. if you do, then stop database, followed by rebooting the ehealth server. And some times just this rebooting server can make the error disappear. If you can not sign on to sqlplus, then you need to stop, and restart the database.

    In Windows:  sqlplus %NH_USER%/%NH_USER%@%NH_DB_CONNECT_STRING%

    In Solaris/Linux:  sqlplus $NH_USER/$NH_USER@$NH_DB_CONNECT_STRING
