Question:

How to solve an error from getting NTS data after product migration from Netview to Netmaster?

Answer:

VTAM has a SAW Filter much like our DEFCLASS commands.

They are assembled into VTAMLIB(ISTMGC10). The purpose is to eliminate SAW data before it is passed on to the network management application.

The solution is to delete this filter with:
  MODIFY NET,TABLE,OPT=DELETE,TYPE=FILTER

This allows the suppression of the current session awareness (SAW) data filter. When this is done, SAW data and trace data for all sessions are sent over the CNM interface.
