Question:

How to set the Autosys environment on Windows when you connect to the Windows machine

Answer:

When you logon or run a telnet command to access a Windows machine, you don't have access to the Autosys command prompt

In ordert to open the Instance Command Prompt Window you have to run the initautosys.exe command which is located in the autosys\bin  folder

 - A typical PATH might be:  C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Workload Automation AE\autosys\bin\initautosys.exe

- This command has the following format: initautosys -i instance -r "command_line" , for example

                          - initautosys -i ace -r "autorep -M ALL"

Additional Information:

You do not have to set the environment. The CA Workload Automation AE instance command prompt automatically sets the environment variables required to run CA Workload Automation AE commands
