How to rollback to the default legacy siteminder administrator once we have configured an external admin store with Admin UI?

Issue:

Once I configured a external Admin Store for the AdminUI, I cannot use the legacy "siteminder" Administrator account to login to AdminUI anymore. Why ?

Resolution:

In order to use the legacy Admin account to login to Admin UI, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the Embedded Jboss application server
  2. Remove the <siteminder_install>\adminui\server\default\data
  3. Register the host: XPSRegclient siteminder:password -adminui-setup
  4. Login to Admin UI
