Often, modifications are made to the default configuration policy instead of creating a new policy that is derived from the default policy. When the need arises to distinguish between different policy settings for different groups, it may be desirable to reset the default configuration policy back to its original values (as they came out of the box) and create multiple policies that all use this default as a base.

In order to reset/restore the default policies back to its original values and revert all changes made, run the following command:
'ccnfregdb -mlocalhost -d"<dsmpath>\manager\CCNF" -o'

<dsmpath> designates the CMS installation path. (Default C:\Program Files\CA\DSM)

Note: Once run, all modifications to the default policy will be reset. Any specific configuration policies required will need to be recreated in either a new Configuration Policy or in the default policy.
