Description

Please follow these steps to reset the password for a Business Objects User.

Solution

  1. Navigate to the Java Administration Console. Start--> Programs--> Business Objects XI Release 2 --> Business Objects Entertprise--> BusinessObjects Enterprise Java Administration Launchpad.
  2. Launch the Central Management Console.
  3. Login using the Administor account <Remember the password is blank>.
  4. Click on 'Users'.
  5. Select the Administrator account.
  6. In the section titled 'Enterprise Account Settings' Change the password to the desired value.
  7. Exit the Central Management Console.
