Introduction:
How to Reconfigure CA ServiceDesk Manager to point to updated MSSQL server port number.

Background:
Due to business Need Default MSSQL server port:1433 changed to XXXX. How to update the same in CA ServiceDesk Manager.

Environment:
MSSQL Server 2005,2008,2012
CA ServiceDesk Manager 12.9,14.1.

Instructions:
1: Open SQL Server Configuration Manager Screen from CA ServiceDesk Manager Server .
>> SQL Native Client 10.0 Configuration(32 Bit)>> Client Prototol>>TCP/IP>> Properties >> Enter updated port number.

2: SQL Native Client 10.0 Configuration>> Client Prototol>>TCP/IP>> Properties >> Enter updated port number.

3: Edit  Config.properties file
    Database.sql.port.listening = 1433 
    Update 1433 with new port number.
    Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Service Desk Manager\site

4: Edit NX.ENV file 
    @ NX_DB_PORT=1433
    Update 1433 with new port number. 
    Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Service Desk Manager

5: Execute pdm_configure.
