Problem:

When CCS is installed, the console log (retrievable via 'caugui conlog') can rapidly fill up with messages like %CADTS, %CASWD etc. How can this be prevented?

Solution:

There are 2 ways to accomplish this:

  • Disable ITCM related event management messages all together using the command: 'ccnfcmda -cmd SetParameterValue -ps itrm/common/ccs -pn eventmanagement -v 0'

  • Redirect the messages to another destination, specifying Event Log: File destination in configuration policy:

Capture.JPG

Setting File Destination to 1 or 2 or 8 will achieve the same.

Setting it to 8 will write to the file specified in EventLogFile (default Events.log) rather than EventMsgFile (which defaults to cfEventMsg.txt).

Once implementing either solution, you must recycle CAF via CAF STOP and then CAF START
