When the characters in the resolution field are more than 32768, it shows the below message:
By default, the maximum number of characters allowed is 32768. However, you may increase this value up to 256000 by performing the following steps:
- Login to Service Desk as an Administrator.
- Go to Administration tab -> Knowledge -> Document -> Document settings.
- At the right hand side, change the value of "Maximum number of characters allowed in Resolution field" from 32768 to 256000 as shown below:
- Click on Save.
Now you should be able to input up to 256000 characters in the resolution field of a knowledge document.
