"To verify the successful installation of CA Service Management 184.108.40.206 patch, validate the.HIS file of the corresponding application with the following table. The .HIS files are available at the following location: CA ITAM: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\ITAM\.his file"
The file doesn't exist - how do I check the what the correct patch level is?
While CA Service Desk Manager and CA Service Catalog both still use a .HIS file to record patch level, for ITAM you'll want the "
" file in the main ITAM folder.
For example, my system here currently has the 220.127.116.11 roll-up patch, but no testfixes installed, so reads:
If you see the same, then you know that the roll-up has been installed.
For older installs of ITAM / APM, you can review the Control Panel, under Programs and Features, and view "Installed Updates".
