Introduction:
According to https://docops.ca.com/ca-service-management/17-1/en/installing/installing-ca-service-management-17-1-0-1/validate-ca-service-management-17-1-0-1-installation

"To verify the successful installation of CA Service Management 17.1.0.1 patch, validate the.HIS file of the corresponding application with the following table. The .HIS files are available at the following location: CA ITAM: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\ITAM\.his file"

The file doesn't exist - how do I check the what the correct patch level is?
Instructions:
While CA Service Desk Manager and CA Service Catalog both still use a .HIS file to record patch level, for ITAM you'll want the "env.info" file in the main ITAM folder.

For example, my system here currently has the 17.1.0.1 roll-up patch, but no testfixes installed, so reads:

product=ITAM
major=17
minor=1
cum=0
roll-up=1

If you see the same, then you know that the roll-up has been installed.
