Question:
How can we enable AdminUI RestAPI traces to get more information for the errors we are getting?
Environment:
AdminUI R12.8
Answer:
To enable smrestservices.log traces, please edit the following properties in the smrestservices-logging.properties file: 
- Edit smrestservices-logging.properties (under <AdminUI_path>/standalone/configuration 
- Set the following logger settings level from "error" to "trace": 
logger.restapi.name=com.ca.siteminder.restapi 
logger.restapi.level = error 
... 
logger.restservlet.name=com.ca.siteminder.sdk.restservlet 
logger.restservlet.level = error 
... 
logger.securityservice.name=com.ca.siteminder.securityservice 
logger.securityservice.level = error 
... 
- Save the changes and wait for 1 minute, or restart the AdminUI.
