Description:

By default, "opt/CA/AccessControl/bin/issec" output provides the ControlMinder version/Service Pack/build number when ControlMinder is running.

This document describes "/opt/CA/AccessControl/bin/seversion" usage to collect the ControlMinder version/Service Pack/build number when ControlMinder is down.

Solution:

When ControlMinder is down, the "opt/CA/AccessControl/bin/issec" output result is:

"
CA Access Control version 12.6 installed in /opt/CA/AccessControl
CA Access Control kernel extension is not loaded.
CA Access Control daemons are not running.
CA Access Control security daemon is not running.
CA Access Control watchdog daemon is not running.
CA Access Control agent daemon is not running.
CA Access Control serevu daemon is not running.
CA Access Control selogrd daemon is not running.
CA Access Control selogrcd daemon is not running.
CA Access Control eacws daemon is not running.
CA Access Control ReportAgent daemon is not running.
CA Access Control AgentManager daemon is not running.
CA Access Control policyfetcher daemon is not running.
CA Access Control KBLAudMgr daemon is not running.
CA Access Control auxiliary daemon is not running.
"

In such case, "/opt/CA/AccessControl/bin/seversion -a seosd" will provide the following information:
"
CA Access Control seversion v12.61.0.1431 - Display module's version
