This document outlines the steps to create a report that displays the list of system updates and patches installed on each computer using the CA Client Automation Report Creation tool.



    • Open the DSM Reporter, right-click on Report Templates and choose 'New Report Template'

    • In the 'Report Template Type' window, select 'Asset or User Report' and click 'OK'

    • Give an appropriate name to the report template.

    • Click on the 'Fields Tab' and click on 'Add'.

    • In the 'Field Browser' window, select 'Inventory' under category. On the right hand pane expand General Inventory->Operating System and select 'System Updates'. Click 'OK'.

    • Click OK to save the report template.
