How do you configure a Password Lockout Policy in EEM, so that it throws an error after X amount of incorrect logins?
In order to configure a Password Lockout Policy in EEM, your instance of EEM must be configured to use the Internal User Store. If it is configured to use an external Active Directory, and you specify a lockout policy there, it may not get translated into a "Lockout Error" within the EEM GUI. The following steps only apply/exist when the Internal User Store is utilized:
1. Login to your EEM GUI
2. Click on Configure
3. Click on EEM Server
4. Click on Password Policies
5. Look for the following option, check the radio button, choose your numerical value and click Save:
"Lock user account after X failed logins"
