Description:

During the initial CA-WAAE 11.3.x installation, you decided not to start CA-WAAE services automatically during the reboot.
How to change these options afterwards to start it up automatically , without going through a re-installation

Solution:

First of all, you have to determine your default runlevel from /etc/inittab

For example on an Aix server:
init:2:initdefault:

Then run this below command which is going to create symbolic links between /etc/rc.d/CA-WAAE and /etc/rc.d/rc2.d/SxxxCA-WAAE
casrvc register --copy --StartInit=2 --StopInit=2 /etc/rc.d/CA-WAAE

For example on Linux:
id:5:initdefault:

Run this below command which is going to create a symbolic link between /etc/init.d/CA-WAAE and /etc/rc3.d/SxxxCA-WAAE and /etc/rc5.d/SxxxCA-WAAE
casrvc register --copy --StartInit=35 --StopInit=0126 /etc/init.d/CA-WAAE
