You cannot control user or group access to a Dashboard or Management Module, but you can control user or group access to Domains containing specific Dashboards or Management Modules in order to achieve this.

Adding Management Modules containing Dashboards to a user-defined Domain allows you to grant users and groups access permission to that specific Domain only.

You can grant users and groups Read-only or Full permissions to one or more Domains.

For details of how to define and configure Domains in the Domains.xml file, refer to The CA APM Security Guide, Chapter 2, Defining and configuring Introscope domains. This Chapter also describes how to associate Management Modules to Domains using a directory scheme.

To associate a Management Module containing a Dashboard to a specific Domain, first create the Domain in Domains.xml, then create directories that correspond to the names of the domains you defined in domains.xml. When Management Modules are moved to the new directory, they become part of the Domain of the same name.
