Description:

After upgrading an agent from 9.0.0.0 to 9.1.7.0, we noticed that the agent directory structure changed between the two versions. We need to copy the IntroscopeAgent.profile and WebAppSupport.jar files from the default to an alternate location. (The paths are configured this way due to an older release.) The Java parameter configuration in the WAS console cannot be changed. How can we do this?

Solution:

APM supports having a non-default path for IntroscopeAgent.profile and WebAppSupport.jar files in java parameters for the Application start up script.

The profile location can be moved. However, if moving the agent profile to a different location, then specify absolute paths to the ext, common, and logs folders (Check IntroscopeAgent.profile for the location.) as these are resolved relative to the IntroscopeAgent.profile location.
