Edit the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file. Set the "snmp_trap_port=" to a value you wish to have SPECTRUM listen to for incoming traps. Then, you will need to restart the SpectroSERVER for the change to take affect.
The SPECTRUM 09.00.00.00 Distributed SpectroSERVER Administrator Guide defines the ""snmp_trap_port=" entry in the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file as follows:
snmp_trap_port
Specifies the port through which the VNM receives traps.
This command has the following format:
snmp_trap_port=162
where:
162 is the default port value.
