CASM administrators may be called on to change the web client login logo (the small image above the user id that shows "CA Service Management"). This tech doc details the steps for how to change this logo.
1) Prepare your company logo. For example, mycompany.png.
It is better to have this image file as a 190x37 image file so the logo can display clearly on the web client login page.
2) Rename the login-logo_190x37.png file in
3a) Copy your company logo file into this folder and rename it to login-logo_190x37.png.
3b) Copy your company logo file ALSO into folder
3c) You need to copy you custom file login-logo_190x37.png also into folder
4) Recycle the USS service(s).
5) Inform end users to remove/clear their browser cache/temporary files.
Note1: Steps 3b and 3c are crucial to avoid a only-one-time-visible changed logo on the login page.
The .png from this folder is restored into the 'ROOT\...' folder.
Note2: After the restart the file in USS-install-folder\OSOP\tomcat-7.0.40\webapps\ROOT\html\portlet\login\images is replaced by its original.
That is why step 3c has been added in the procedure.
Now when an end user goes to USS web client login page, your company logo will display instead of the out of box one that shows "CA Service Management".
