It is possible to change the default icon/image of the login page of Unified Self-Service (USS) by replacing the file named "login-logo_190x37.png", located in the following default directory on the Windows server that is running CA Unified Self-Service service:

C:\Program Files\CA\Self Service\OSOP\tomcat-7.0.40\webapps\ROOT\html\portlet\login\images\

However, if the CA Unified Self-Service service is subsequently stopped and then started, the file would be replaced with the original file.  After deleting the browser cache, the original image would be displayed instead of the replacement image.

For the change to persist after the recycle of the service, the change needs to be made in a different directory.

Note: In the example above and the instructions below, the installation directory for USS is "C:\Program Files\CA\Self Service\OSOP".  If the USS installation directory is different in your environment, then the image path can be determined accordingly.

  1. Replace the file named "login-logo_190x37.png" that exists in the following location:

    C:\Program Files\CA\Self Service\OSOP\tomcat-7.0.40\webapps\front-office-hook\WEB-INF\jsps\html\portlet\login\images
  2. Stop CA Unified Self-Service Server service.
  3. Start CA Unified Self-Service Server service.
  4. Clear the web browser cache.
  5. Access the login page via the web browser.
