How to change the default session timeout value for xFlow Analyst Interface?

Question:

By default the session time out for xFlow Analyst Interface is set to 60 minutes. How to change it? 

 

Answer:

The session timeout for xFlow Analyst Interface is specified on the Administration tab of CA Service Desk Manager. Below is the procedure to increase the session timeout to 120 minutes.

 

  1. Log into Service Desk Manager and open "Administration" tab.

  2. Go to "xFlow Analyst Interface"
    Choose "General"
    Click on "Show Filter" button.
    Type "SessionTimeout" in "Configuration Key" field
    Click on the "Search" button.

  3. Open the "SessionTimeout" configuration and click on "Edit."

  4. Replace the default Configuration Value "60" with the desired value. In this example, type "120". Click on "Save" button.

  5. Open Windows Services Snap-in and restart "CA xFlow Analyst Interface" service.
