How to change the CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) default login page background color.

Perform the following steps to change the CA SDM default login page background color:

  1. Launch and login to Web Screen Painter (WSP)

  2. Select CSS STYLESHEET under Interface or File Type. Select DEFAULT under Form Group. Select CASTYLES.CSS under File Name and click OPEN as shown in Figure 1.

  3. Locate the following section under the /* UCD R7 login style */ section

    .login_page {
    background-color: #00174A;
    text-align:center;
    }

  4. Change the color HEX code to the desired color. For example:

    .login_page {
    background-color: #5CACEE;
    text-align:center;
    }

  5. Click FILE -> SAVE followed by FILE -> PUBLISH

  6. On the CA SDM server, run the following commands to clear the web server form cache

    pdm_webcache -H
    pdm_webcache -b

  7. Open the web browser and clear the web browser cache

  8. Access the CA SDM login page. The background color should now be changed.
