Introduction:

The purpose of this document is to provide the instructions about how to change the default port number being used by CA xFlow Analyst Web Server to something different than 9002

Background:

CA xFlow Analyst Web Server uses Apache to run. We will configure Apache to use a different port number

Environment:

Service Desk Manager 14.1 Cum 3 or later

Instructions:

1) Ensure that the new port number is not being used. This can be done by running the following command in the server: netstat -ano | findstr "new port number"

2) Go to the xFlow Home Folder\APPS\UI\Apache24\conf. Example: C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\UI\Apache24\conf

3) Open httpd.conf and search for "Listen <default port>". Example: Listen 9002

4) Replace the port number with the new port number. Example: Listen 7002

5) Save Changes

6) Restart CA xFlow Analyst Interface

7) Open a new window in your browser and enter the URL to log into xFlow but this time using the new port number. Example: http://<hostname>:7002
