Introduction:

This document will outline how to download files from a support case and apply patches for defects or enhancements for various TDM components and ARD.

Background:

Typically when a defect is found in the product we can provide a patch (test build version) for the component experiencing the issue. For certain enhancement requests we will also supply a patch. We will ask that you apply and test these patches in your own environment to make sure the issue is resolved. We do test all patches in our internal environments before providing them to customers, however, since these are not GA versions of the product, there is a risk due to not doing all the regression and other testing normally completed with a GA release. We always recommend taking a backup of your old version and any other important artifacts before applying a patch. If you are not comfortable applying a patch, you can always wait to upgrade to the next GA release. All defect fixes are rolled into the next GA version.
