If you would like custom tags to display on the User View of a knowledge document a customization must also be made to the kt_document_template.htmpl form in Web Screen Painter that exists in the "default" form group.

Search in the file for

 //Problem
 var arrDocument = sDocument.split("{TAG_PROBLEM}");
 var sProblem = nx_unescape('<PDM_FMT disp_entities="NO" ESC_STYLE=JS2>$args.PROBLEM</PDM_FMT>');
 sProblem = sProblem.replace(/\n/g,"<BR>");
 sDocument = arrDocument.join(highlightSearchTerms("$args.KEEP.ebr_parsed_search_text", sProblem));

Additional tags can be added  under this section in a similar fashion to this:

 var arrDocument = sDocument.split("{TAG_z_tagname}");
 sDocument = arrDocument.join(highlightSearchTerms("$args.KEEP.ebr_parsed_search_text", '<PDM_FMT ESC_STYLE=C>$args.z_tagname.sym</PDM_FMT>'));

The change can be published, and then a "pdm_webcache" can be run from a command prompt on the server for the change to take effect.

Please note: CA Support does not support the creation of this customization. This information is provided "as is" without additional support.
