In some environments, you may want to allow certain (or all) resources to be able to enter time for other resources in PPM. This document provides the steps to configure this functionality.

What you need to do in order to allow users to enter time for other users is go to that resource, go to their instance access rights, and grant them the right called "Resource - Enter Time", then follow these steps to select the users for which this user can enter time for:
1. log in as an admin, and go to Administration > Resources
2. find the resource whom you want to be able to enter time for other resources, and click on that resource to open it
3. go to the Resource's Access Rights tab dropdown and select "Instance" - here you will see the "Resource - Enter Time" access right - click on it
4. click the "Add" button, then find and select the users for whom you want this user to be able to enter time for, and then click on the Add button again
IMPORTANT NOTE: This will add those user to the list of resources for which this resource can enter time for, and will also allow those other resources in the list to enter time for this resource as well. This is done automatically making this a two-way relationship.
