How can the CA Identity Portal public Forgot Password Reset screen be customized to show the corporate password policy information on the screen when a user is resetting their password?
1. Create a task in IP that is mapped to the specific Forgotten Password IM admin task that is being used. The task name can be confirmed by checking under Tasks for the CAIM connector in the CA Identity Portal Admin UI.
2. Create a form in IP that uses this task. Once this form is configured, it will be displayed in the Forgotten Password screen. The IM admin task should have a Profile tab with a screen. The attributes on that screen will be available on the form in IP.
3. On the form add a Message type property, in which you can add custom HTML with the Password Policy details. If needed, additional fields from the IM task can also be added.
4. The default text that says "Please fill in the following form:" or "Please enter answers for the following questions:" is not part of the form in IP. This text can be changed using Localization for the Forgot Password Screen.
