If the authentication is not done, customer needs to know how much time CA Service Management wait before timeout message be sent.

How much time Service Management waits for authentication?

By default it waits  5 seconds.

It can be modified using the variable NX_LOGIN_TIME, in the NX.env file.

In order to update NX.env or NX.env_tpl files, we highly recommend to use pdm_options_mgr command, and not modify them manually.

pdm_options_mgr -c -s LOGIN_TIME -v <new value> -a pdm_option.inst
pdm_options_mgr -c -s LOGIN_TIME -v <new value> -a pdm_option.inst -t

You need to restart SDM services to take new values.

Additional Information:

After running pdm_options_mgr command to add a variable to NX.env or NX.env_tpl files, an existing last line of those files is replaced with a new variable added by the command.
