Question:
How do to import Knowledge Packages using the pdm_kit utility in Service Desk?
Environment:

Answer:
The pdm_kit utility, in SDM, imports data to the destination server according to the settings in the configuration file of a package. It performs the following tasks:
# Imports documents by replacing the userid value (for contacts) or referenced name (for fields like asset) with appropriate UUID of the destination server.
# Imports images.
# Imports attachments.
# Uploads files from the local package folder to the remote repositories.
From the default $NX_ROOT/site/keit/export directory, copy the desired knowledge package to your default $NX_ROOT/site/keit/import installation directory on the destination server. Example "package_server-sdm12_9_2016-04-25_10-22-38_400004". Then run the following command from the command prompt:
pdm_kit -f package_server-sdm12_9_2016-04-25_10-22-38_400004
