When trying to print a BOXI report by clicking the <Print this report> button in InfoView, an ActiveX component installation popup message appears. However, the message may not be shown if it is blocked by the users Internet security settings. In this case the print function will fail.
In order to install the ActiveX component manually - follow the steps below:
- On the BOXI server, locate the PrintControl.cab file, located under the (BOXI)\Common\4.0\crystalreportviewers12\ActiveXControls folder. Copy this file to the client machine.
- Extract the PrintControl.cab file.
- Register the printcontrol.dll on the client machine by running the following command:
Once this is completed, try printing a report in InfoView using the <Print this report> button.
