Solution:

The command line execution depends on the environment under which execution is to occur, e.g.:

  1. If you are already in an administrative context:

caf register all host <machine name>

  2. If you need to specify credentials but do not want the password typed visibly:

caf register all host <machine name> user <username>

Note: This will prompt for a password that will be masked from view.

  3. For a full command line that will generate no prompts but will require a visible password be typed:

caf register all host <machine name> user <username> password <password>

  4. If you want to use the Ip address of the remote machine instead of the hostname:

    caf register all host <Ip address> user <domain name\admin user (or) computer name\admin user> password <password>

Example: caf register all host 192.168.100.101 user testenv\administrator password testenvpass

where testenv = the domain name and testenvpass = admin password
