Problem:

How can I remove decommissioned robots from USM along with the QOS data for that it monitored?

Solution:

In all version of UIM old systems are automatically removed by the discovery_server.
By default this is done after 30 days of the robot not being activate.
This can be changed using raw config on the discovery_server and changing the following key:
expire_time = 30d

The QOS data is controlled by the data_engine with the number of days to store raw data and history.

Last the alarms are controlled by NAS and the number of days to store alarms.

In the 7.x and 8.x versions of UIM to get rid of the data manually you would need to run the following queries:

delete from cm_computer_system where name ='SomeRobotname';

delete from s_qos_data where robot ='SomeRobotname';

delete from nas_alarms where robot ='SomeRobotname';

in the 8.X versions of UIM instead of the delete from cm_computer_system you could also run the discovery_server PU call back to remove master device by CS_KEY.
This is discussed in the 8.x discovery rest KB article:tec000004861
