Introduction:
New Functionality available in 15.5 is to create Channels.
 

Channels allow project team members with easy access to external sites, other applications, or even classic PPM links.  You add a channel to the blueprint. The user gets access to all the business decision making capabilities without leaving a PPM project. You can configure a maximum of five (5) channels.

Instructions:
These are the supported syntax for creating the channel

•Defining URLs for external application will support these 5 context sensitive parameters as links:

- Project Code: ${code}
- Project ID: ${internalID}
 - Project Manager: ${manager}
- User Name: ${userName}
- Project Name: ${name}

An example to open a Project Dashboard page would be 

yourserver.../niku/nu#action:projmgr.projectDashboard&id=${internalID} 

Note:  This will not render correctly in Preview as it cannot pass the project ID.  

Once the project is associated to this Blueprint and the Channel is selected it will open the appropriate project dashboard.
