Introduction:

 Clearing the cache is a frequently required task.  Below are the steps to do this.  This is required when updating any jar files in the APM Enterprise Manager installation.

Question:

 How do I clear the cache on a APM Enterprise Manager?

Environment:
The directory structure is the same for Unix / Linux variants or Windows.
Answer:

1 - Stop the APM cluster

2 - Go to the \product\webview\configuration directory 

Delete all directories only : ( do NOT delete the config.ini )

3 - Go to the \product\enterprisemanager\configuration  directory 

Delete all directories only : ( do NOT delete the config.ini )

4 - Go to the \work directory and delete its contents.

5 - Clear the appropriate browser cache. 

6 - Start the APM cluster.
