Question:

How come when I uninstall SSA CA Secure Socket Adapter I get a popup error  ?

Environment:
CA Client Automation - All Versions
Answer:

There is a file named ClientReg.cfg located in the ....\CA\SC\Csam\SockAdapter\cfg

directory that has a list of CA products that have a dependency of the CA Secure Socket Adapter

and if an uninstall doesn’t remove the file it will not allow the SSA to be uninstalled.

1. Browse to the folder .....\CA\SC\Csam\SockAdapter\cfg directory
