QUESTION:  We have compiled a mib in MIB Tools and mapped the attributes to the SpectroSERVER. We now have duplicate attributes in the Spectrum database. How can you delete attributes after they have been compiled in Spectrum MIB Tools and mapped to the SpectroSERVER database?

ANSWER:  Attributes cannot be deleted from the SpectroSERVER database when they have been mapped to the SpectroSERVER using MIB Tools. The only way to remove them is to reload a SpectroSERVER database catalog from before the attributes were mapped.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  For more information on using MIB Tools, please reference chapter 5 "Managing MIBs and Traps With MIB Tools" in the "Certification User Guide" for Spectrum 9.4 and below and the "Managing MIBs and Traps With MIB Tools" section in the Spectrum 10 document.
