When creating group containers you can use SQL wildcards to do more advance matching.

CA UIM 8.1 and aboveMS SQL Server

You can use the following special characters within the USM Group Filters.

  • % : A substitute for zero or more characters
  • _ : a substitute for a single character
  • [characterList] : Sets and ranges of characters to match
  • [!charlist] or [^charlist] : Matches only characters NOT in the brackets

Note; these will only work when the filter operator is a "contains", "starts with" or "ends with". It will not work with "is" or "in".
