Question:

Have added a new ACL. how can I verify if it is now available to TPX?

Answer:

After you create a new ACL (or change an existing ACL), you must RELOAD it via TPXOPER so that it is available to TPX: RELOAD ACL=aclname

If you RELOAD an ACL that does not exist in your ACL library (perhaps a typo or it's in the wrong library), you will still see this message: MENORL06 ACL reload scheduled

You should not assume that this indicates TPX can access this ACL.

To verify that the new ACL is available to TPX, you can use TPXOPER. Assuming your cmdchar is "/", enter:  /S aclname<press cmdkey>

If the ACL is not found you will get this error:

 **********************************************************
 *                                                        *
 *       MSGID: TEN0013                                   *
 *                                                        *
 * CAUSE: ACLNAME IS AN UNKNOWN ACLPGM *
 *                                                        *
 *       TO PROCEED, EITHER -                             *
 *                                                        *
 *          1. HIT ENTER - TO GET RECONNECTED             *
 *                                                        *
 *          2. RE-ENTER THE COMMAND:                      *
 *                                                        *
 *               ===>                                     *
 *                                                        *
 **********************************************************

In this case, try to RELOAD the ACL again or cycle TPX.
