Question:
When I encounter some problems with AUA ( Autosys Upgrade Assistant ), how can I trace this utility for debugging purpose?
Environment:
Autosys Upgrade Assistant installed on Windows
Answer:
Close the AUA interface on the Windows server and start it up in debug mode like that: 

1) navigate to the directory which contains file aua.jar 

2) at the MS Dos prompt, type:  java -jar aua.jar -trace 

You should be able to find the AUA trace in the AUA log directory like on mine where I am logged on as user01: 
Output --> c:\users\user01\appdata\local\CA\AUA\logs 

Then open a case at CA support and attach the files to the ticket
