How can I tell how many tasks the Datacom FXX was initialized with?
To determine the number of tasks initialized in the FXX, you can refer to your Multi-User (MUF) log for the "LOG FILE (LXX) OUTPUT" report.
For example, this report shows the tasks initialized in the FXX was 2000:
FXX TOTAL TASKS - ALLOWED - 2025 MOST USED - 31 (SYSTEM TASKS - 25)
FXX USER TASKS* - ALLOWED - 2000 MOST USED - 6
* - MAY NOT MATCH TASKS= VALUE IF INIT IN A DIFFERENT RELEASE WITH DIFFERENT SYSTEM TASKS.
The * message above is informational and does not indicate any problem. It is explaining that if the FXX was initialized in a previous release, the "MOST USED" count may be a little off because there may have been a different number of system tasks in use in that environment.
If you have a need to increase the number of TASKS in the Multi-user (MUF) startup, you need to assure that the number of tasks in the FXX is equal or greater than the TASKS in the MUF. If you are not sure how many tasks the FXX was initialized with, you will need to determine that value.
Please remember that the FXX is paired with the LXX logging file and is called the Force Area (FXX).
