Question:

How can I determining the release and service pack level for TCPAccess Telnet Server?

Answer:

Go to the TLNLOAD library defined in the STEPLIB in the TCPAccess Telnet Server started task JCL.
Look for member T04SP

Browse this member and use PF11 to scroll to the right.

Something like the following will appear:

FMID C2C6200 SP1

In the FMID C2Cxx00, xx contains the release of the Telnet Server that is installed.

SPx indicates the service pack level.

This example indicates that the 6.2 Telnet Server at Service Pack 1 level is active.

Likewise, if there is SP0 - that means the release is at Service Pack 0 or base level.

If you are running the 6.0 Telnet Server, the module will show this instead:

Telnet Server, SP x

where SP x indicates the service pack level.
