This document states how to correct a "PDT0230 CONTROL FILE DATASET NAME IS INVALID OR NOT FOUND" message in a PDTCPALC job. 

Question:

How can I correct a "PDT0230 CONTROL FILE DATASET NAME IS INVALID OR NOT FOUND" message in my PDTCPALC job? 

Environment:
z/OS 1.11 and above.
Answer:

This error usually occurs when an incorrect file name (perhaps from a previous release?) is contained in the CDSN entry of the DTCFPARM member in the <High.Level>.CDBAPXMP library. It can be corrected by:

1) Placing the correct Control File name in the CDSN entry of the DTCFPARM member

2) Recycling the Xmanager
