Question:
My /opt directory is full. The largest files in this location are all "event*.ibd" files, which appear to be tablespaces in MySQL. It is using 144 GB. How can I clean these up?
Answer:
Here is the process:
Stop the Spectrum Tomcat server

Open a command window.

Please change directory to $SPECROOT/bin

Then run: RpmgrInitializeLandscape root root -initHist 45 -all

Once it completes please restart the Spectrum Tomcat process.

This will allow OneClick and SRM but it will take some time for SRM to gather all of the event data from the Archive Manager(s).

The steps will initialize the reporting database and pull in the last 45 days of events from all Archive Managers in your Spectrum environment. If you would rather start from a clean slate with no events simply substitute -initHist 45 for -skipInitialHistory.
