There is problem related to ServiceDesk server platforms having 2 or more NIC (Network Interface Card) cards. This already fixed in r17.0 but you still need to define the related environment variable @NX_PICK_FIRST_IPV4 to allow the fix to initiate.
If this variable is set to “yes”, then Service Desk will use internally the first IP address it finds in the list returned from the getaddrinfo Microfost API call.
But how can this order be changed if for example the customer wants Service Desk picks up the second or third Network Interface Card?

You would have to change the binding order of the NIC cards. This can be done via the Network Advanced Properties section (Windows 2012):
Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings (on the left) -> Press the ALT key on keyboard to reveal Advanced dropdown -> select Advanced Settings now -> You can move up/down on the Connections list Ethernet, Ethernet 2...... to change the binding order.
