Question:
How can changes to ACF2 CPF GSO OPTIONS and NODEDEF records be made effective?
Answer:
You can issue the following commands for the CPF OPTIONS and NODEDEF records as follows:
F ACF2,REFRESH(OPTIONS),TYPE(CPF) F ACF2,REFRESH(NODEDEF),TYPE(CPF). However the
REFRESH of the CPF OPTIONS record activates options on the currently running system, it does not
automatically start or stop the command propagation task (COMMAND field) or the password synchronization
task (PSWDSYNC field). You can change the task status by stopping and restarting CPF using the
F ACF2,CPF(STOP) and F ACF2,CPF(START) commands. NODEDEF changes or additions do not
require CPF stop/start.
