Hotfix number meaning
Resolution:
Detailed Description and Symptoms
How can I tell how old my current component is?  What is the difference between this component and the latest component on the support.automic.com download site?

Investigation
When you go to the support.automic.com site and select "Hotfixes" each specific resolved issue is listed as an individual fix.  For example, in the screen below I have selected 8.00A Windows Agents:

Automic Operations Manager Agent Windows 8.00A022-901

The hotfixes are read like this:
The first digit is the last number of the year  (ex: 0)
The second, third and forth digits are the number of the day of the year (the Julian day)  (ex: 229)
The fifth and sixth digits are the build number. (ex: 01)

Solution
So, 022-901 means that this hotfix was released
in 2010
on the 229th day of that year
and was the first build of the day (01).
Or, in other words, it was done on August 17, 2010.
